The Medical Physicist Registry* has been established as a central location to confirm the qualifications of board certified medical physicists. This registry provides independent verification to state radiation control program staff and employers of written documentation presented with applications for employment or to the radiation control program upon application for a radioactive material license or machine license or registration.

Data on certifications and specialties have been provided to the registry by the following certifying boards:

The registry is searchable and provides the following information:

  • Last Name
  • First Name
  • Certifying Board
  • Board Specialty
  • City
  • State or Province

Map-States that License Medical Physicists (the result of a collaborative effort between AAPM and CRCPD).  Designed to be a one-stop-shop for the membership and the public to find information on individual states requirements for licensure or registration of medical physicists. AAPM and the CRCPD will continually modify the map as new information becomes available.

*Disclaimer: CRCPD is not responsible for the certification or credentialing of medical physicists. Its responsibility is solely the verification of such certification and communication of such based on information provided by the certifying boards.

(If you check your listing and the information is not correct, you should contact your certifying board, not CRCPD, to correct the information.)
