Jack Stanton

 

Whereas:

Jack Stanton has provided approximately 40 years of dedicated public health service to the citizens of New Hampshire; and

Whereas:

Jack Stanton has been actively involved in national programs that have benefited not only the New Hampshire Radiation Control Program, but radiation protection programs throughout the United States; and

Whereas:

Jack Stanton was one of the early pioneers in the development of the very successful Nationwide Evaluation of X-ray Trends (NEXT) program, serving as one of the committee’s chairmen during the committee’s developing years. Under his leadership, this valuable program developed into a unique methodology to measure the effectiveness of state x-ray programs; and

Whereas:

Jack Stanton, as Chairman of the Conference of Radiation Control Programs Directors, Inc. (CRCPD) during his 1981-1982 tenure year, provided exceptional leadership to the organization.

Now be it resolved that:

Jack Stanton is hereby recognized and commended by the CRCPD Board of Directors for his support of national public health goals and for his outstanding professional contributions to the state of New Hampshire and to state and local radiation control programs throughout the United States; and

Be it further resolved that:

Jack Stanton is very much appreciated for his many years of support of the CRCPD; and

Be it further resolved that:

The CRCPD Board of Directors wish Jack Stanton a pleasant and rewarding retirement.
