Radon is a radioactive gas that
comes from the natural (radioactive) breakdown of uranium in soil, rock
and water. Radon poses a health threat because is may cause lung cancer
if you breathe it in. Radon can concentrate in your home - seeping in
from the surrounding soil. In fact, the radon is the second leading
cause of lung cancer in the United States today, only smoking causes
more lung cancer deaths. Your home can be tested for radon and, if found
to have elevated levels, it can be fixed. The following links will
