Roger Cloutier

WHEREAS:

Roger Cloutier has served as a leader in the field of Health Physics, being a pioneer in many areas; and

WHEREAS:

Mr. Cloutier has been responsible for the development and implementation of professional training programs in health physics, which have been invaluable to the training of state radiological health personnel; and

WHEREAS:

Mr. Cloutier has played a major role in the development and implementation of other technical programs, such as the Radiopharmaceutical Internal Dose Information Center, the Emergency Assistance Center/Training Site Program, and the Environmental Survey and Site Assessment Program, all of which have been of much value to state radiation control programs; and

WHEREAS:

Mr. Cloutier has personally provided assistance and guidance to state radiation control programs, especially in times of radiation emergency: and

WHEREAS:

Mr. Cloutier served for many years as the official liaison of the Health Physics Society to the Conference of Radiation Control Program Directors, Inc. (CRCPD):

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Roger Cloutier is hereby highly commended and greatly appreciated by the Executive Board of the CRCPD for his support and assistance to state and local radiation control programs.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:

Roger Cloutier is hereby accepted as an Honorary Member of the CRCPD, an honor bestowed only to individuals who have excelled and brought honor to their profession.
