Board of Directors Resolution
[July 30, 1998]Diane E. Tefft
Relating to:
The contributions of Diane E. Tefft to radiation protection of the citizens of New Hampshire, the nation, and in particular, her many contributions to the Conference of Radiation Control Program Directors, Inc. (CRCPD).
Whereas:
Diane Tefft has given 34 years of her professional career to protecting the citizens of New Hampshire from unnecessary radiation exposure; and
Whereas:
During these 34 years, Diane has been the "Number 1" supporter of the CRCPD; and
Whereas:
In her support of the goals and objectives of the CRCPD Strategic Plan, Diane has served in many positions for the organization, including, but not limited to:
CRCPD Chairperson;
Member of the Board of Directors; and
Member of many working committees, serving as chairperson of many of them, especially highlighting her leadership in the amendment of the long range CRCPD Strategic Plan.
Whereas:
In recognition of her outstanding work in protecting the citizens of New Hampshire from radiation exposure, and serving the nation as a whole through her work with the CRCPD, Diane was awarded the Gerald S. Parker Award of Merit, the organization's most prestigious award; and
Whereas:
Because of Diane's dedication and self-sacrifice to her chosen profession, she is most deserving of a pleasant retirement.
Now Therefore, Be It Resolved:
That Diane Tefft is hereby recognized and praised for her many years of dedicated public service to the citizens of New Hampshire by providing leadership and guidance to the state's radiation control program; and
Be it Further Resolved:
That Diane Tefft is hereby recognized and appreciated for her many years of service to
the Conference of Radiation Control Programs Directors, a service that benefits all citizens in the United States from unnecessary radiation exposure, andBe it Further Resolved:
That the CRCPD Board of Directors and the staff of the Office of Executive Director express
their sincere appreciation to Diane and wish her a most pleasant, relaxing and rewarding retirement.Bestowed by the Board of Directors this 30th day of April, 2002.
