Stereotactic Mammography

and
Instructions have been developed by CRCPD's
H-11 Committee on Mammography to
provide a tool for states to use as a guideline for inspecting these units (see
the
H-11 Cover Letter.)
There are currently greater than 3,000 stereotactic mammography units in the United States.
FDA does not currently regulate these units, nor are there plans to do so in the near future.
